The story to this anime is basically a cross between The Island of Dr. Moreau and the Little Mermaid set in the ocean. While the characterization isn’t’ all that deep, there’s something haunting about being dumped into this world. If only Waterworld had been this good.

There’s a lot of brooding and introspection, some of the dialogue is flat, it’s not the subtle kind. This will really bug some people. Rating: 3 / 5

i saw this on cartoon network years ago when cartoon network was actually a good channel for cartoons and anime. if you love action and adventure, then you will like this. i already orderd this it should be hear by monday ? Rating: 5 / 5

I was glad when I found this on Amazon. I remember when stores used to try and sell each episode on a single DVD for about $20 each. I love the show, but not enough to spend $60 for 6 episodes. :P

for the amount it costs its really worth it..it has all 4 OVAs plus a lot of extra material…the graphics are excellent and the plot ties in well over the 4 OVA period, a bit lame sometimes but thats anime for you..all in all a very good buy
